and these are my flowers...don't have the rods yet to stake them...will soon...this pattern I found at a rummage sale last summer...not a full set...bits and pieces for 50 cents...it is the same pattern of my mother's good dinnerware we used when I was a kid for Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter dinners...she picked them up before I was born at the grocery store...you know where you saved the stamps and then you could buy pieces really cheap...and she saved and saved and got a whole set of the wheat pattern- she loved golds and yellows...and I really don't know what happened to the original set...my dad had them at one time...but they could be gone by now...they just make me smile...
welcome to my place and life as I know it...and my journey along the way...thankful for what I have...grateful for what He does... THIS BLOG MAY CONTAIN COOKIES...I HAVEN'T PUT THEM THERE, BUT YOU NEVER KNOW WHO MIGHT...YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Good morning, everyone!
We've got another rainy day...not much rain...but the thunder tells of things to come...
not a lot of time to work outside this morning...only did a few projects that didn't take long...
these chairs were at Rebecca's barn sale and I saw them in one of the photos she sent to put on her new blog I started for her...it had cushioned seats but they weren't weatherproof...so we took them off and put them in the shed so they wouldn't get wet until I got material to recover them...then...this morning...out of the blue and still half asleep...I came up with this idea...I couldn't wait for everyone to get up and get started on it...
but a new item means moving things around again...so this goes here...
that goes there...boy, did the guys roll their eyes...but it looks great and I'm happy until I get a better idea...
we also moved the hanging plants around- had one getting too much sun- so the bird cage is there now and the flower basket is under the walnut in front ...
just wait till they find out what I want done inside today....snicker...
