Gardening in the evening:

Bebe takes a hit from the hose...it's so hot...at 9:30 pm it's still 88 out..
but the evening shadows are pretty...
Craig and I timed this to get the water shot and I had to turn the camera down quickly to keep the lens from getting wet...and we did it in one try...
I love the transission of the beds from one week to the next...
the veggies are doing good in the humid hot weather...
one of our volunteer grapevines...sometimes the best things in a garden are the things that weren't planned...
hostas blooming...
and they keep blooming...
everything is growing so fast...
filling in...this is the last bed to fill in...so just wait...
Craig working hard..
day lily...
last night we moved the deck pots to the side yard for the hot days to come...
these day lilies aren't open just yet...
mum...
cone flower...
I have not used any fertilizer at all this year...
we got a lot of good photos this evening...hope you enjoyed them...
volunteer snap dragons...tall variety...
have a good night and stay cool...

Another kodak moment:

don't you just love the outfit???
and here he is in diapers and plastic pants...even then he looked like he was on a mission...but stay tuned because the best is yet to come of our birthday boy...

Wonderful news !

This frame sat on my grandpa's dresser- it's me on the left and my mom and Kathy on the right, just before she died.
This is a photo taken of my sister's grave stone in Ohio. I have been posting grave information on Find A Grave website and put in a photo request for her grave a month ago hoping someone there would be able to find the grave and post a photo. Robert Malone took this photo of the stone and posted it today !

My day lilies are finally opening !

Craig braved the heat to grab a couple photos-
the temp is 90- don't want to know the heat index-

Guess who?

He had more hair on top then then he does now...could it be Stever???
3 more days till his birthday...

My friend, Mary and her mom- Katy Did:

I got these photos off of Mary's blog and cropped them down to face shots, then went through her rose photos, the one in the bottom right is her daddy's rose bush and then I remembered the verse about momma's hands and all the things they have done for others in her lifetime...the vase of roses is from the front of the Mother's Day card Mary gave her this spring...and you just got to love all of her hats...she's just so cute...

Krazy Kritters:

can you see me?
can you see me now?
how about now?
someone in every litter eventually finds their way into my vintage radio cabinet...
this time is was Georgie and Wyatt...
and I know they were supposed to go the shelter on Saturday, but Steve woke up that morning and couldn't hear hardly anything, tried to clean the stricks up in the yard from the storms the night before and started feeling really bad...so I thought it was a good idea to postpone the trip for another week...I think the wax is just impacted so bad in both ears ...have been boiling them out and getting so much nasty stuff...so hopefully in a couple days he will be better...
