new things...

little pumpkins from the Dollar Tree...
Rebecca picked them up for me and delivered them tonight...
I already had one...
another white one...
so now I have 3...
and then she left these for me to try...
her mom had these in her kitchen and changed them out...
she was going to sell them in their rummage sale last weekend...
I said not so fast...
she has 30 of them!...
I have a lot of cabinets...
I need 29...
I have oak cabinets...
I want them off white...
been talking about it for 3 years now...
took that long to convince my DH, who loves wood...
that this would be a great idea...
the hardware was holding me up this year...
of course all the ones I like are the top end...
go figure...
so I have been waiting for a bargain...
ta-da...
my kitchen is yellow right now...
and I love yellow and pink and white together...
I think in the spring, the cabinets are getting painted...
the knobs will go on sooner than that...
some happy thoughts for winter time...
bead board is also involved in this plan...
yeah...
it's coming...

  4. What is it with men and their love of wood? Does it go back to the caveman days? My husband doesn't want me to paint anything, and it took me three years to finally paint a cabinet in my dining room. I didn't tell him I was doing it, and he hasn't said a thing about it. Oh well. Those knobs are fantastic, and Fall is a great time to paint. Maybe you could paint your cupboards now, so that I don't have to wait 'til spring to see how great it's all going to look!

  5. Good Morning Tete Sweetie...
Now aren't those pumpkins just the most precious things ever? I am going to have to pay the dollar store a visit before they are all gone. I love a bargain for sure.

Now these knobs are so beautiful. I can just see them already. Oh you had me at bead board, what are you up to? I can't wait to see. I know it is going to be just beautiful. You will have roses smiling at you year round in the kitchen, Beyond the Garden Gate. Oh how beautiful sweetie.

Have a beautiful Tuesday. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
