White Wednesday...

Keith and my son, Doug...
aka...
interior designer dudes...
this is the top of the entertainment center...
with my "new" mini screens...
bought from my bf at Ella Mae's Barn Gathering...
she had 2 of them...
so they put one on each side...
the clock was dropped by my dh a couple years ago while trying to replace the battery and change the clock for daylight savings...
he's been looking for one to replace it ever since...
he felt so bad about it...
I think it's got character now...
we have switched the curtains around in here...
2 lace panels in the background...
and the valance is hung low for evening privacy...
I love the shadows of the lace panels...
the valance is a vintage table cloth that I cut in half and hemmed up...
sew easy and whisper thin...
and white...
bright and happy...
there are even lacy shadows playing around on the lamp shade...
and here is how it looks at night...
maybe a few leaves scattered around would be festive...
Happy White Wednesday...

  4. I love your screens, Tete! They will look so nice as part of your Christmas decor, too! Oh, and I like the new look of your blog! BTW, I think they must have a 12 step program out there for people with a fear of glitter:)

  5. The screens are wonderful. At Christmas you should put little lights behind them! They will look great with your Holiday decor and the way you decorate is so beautiful I can't wait to see more!
    Beautiful home and beautiful blog!
