I have 3 this evening...
a family with 4 small children had a house fire north of here...
it started in the breezeway between the house and the garage while they were sleeping...
the dad woke and got the mom and a 4 and 6 year old out...
he went back to get the 1 and 2 year old, but couldn't get in before the roof collapsed...
there were 5-6 fire departments responding...
the last I heard, they were digging through the ashes for their bodies...
in another home fire...
a mother and infant daughter died...
and finally for me...
my uncle was sent home with hospice...
not sure how long...
he had a good day yesterday...
he was too weak to try chemo...
and they found it in more places...
Oh such tragedy! How awful..can you imagine saving two children and losing two? My heart can't wrap itself around that thought! And a Mother and baby? The angel watching over her baby now on another shore.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about your Uncle. I think pallative care is so much better than putting someone through chemo when it is late stage.
I am saying a prayer for every person touched by all these tragedies...including you- Hugs- Diana
I'm late getting to read your posts and there are no words to say for the tragedies that you wrote about. They are all in my prayers and your uncle too,as are you.
