Tete's 2nd Hand Collections December Party!

this month I want to share my vintage kitchen collectibles...
these are my great grandmother's Watt pottery bowls...
there are 3 that nestle together...
her name was Nellie...
they are in a beet pattern...
and they have so much age...
they were used many times...
to make things for her family...
I found these vintage cookie cutters on eBay last year after Christmas at a very good price...
I think grandma Nellie would have liked them a lot...
these items belong to my grandma, Mabel...
and they all go together very well with the other items...
the star collander belong to grandma Mabel, also...
it looks cool with a candle under it...
and the flour sifter belonged to my DH's mom, Catherine...
it's a Bromwell...
just think of all the meals and goodies these items help make through the years...
now they are just pretties to remind me of my family...
and to give Nellie, Mabel and Catherine a place of honor in my kitchen...
I also have my grandma Mabel's turkey roasting pan...
my mom's Visions' pink roasting dish...
Catherine's pink fire king glass dish...
and a few other things around here that keep them close to me...
Now let's see what you have this time...
just add yourself to the linky and let's PARTY!
MERRY CHRISTMAS !

  1. So many of these things I can relate to. My mother as well as myself many years ago used several of these. You have a wonderful vintage collection. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  3. All my memories are in the place in NC. I don't bring any to Florida so I'll have to live vicariously through all of your pretty pictures.

  4. Oh Tete, what wonderful pieces to remind you of the wonderful women that were such a part of your life (and your husband’s). My grandmother Hallie had that star colander, I wish I had it now. I do have some wonderful things that my grandmothers shared with me and I will have to do a post to link up with you on this. How oftenw ill you do it? Love this idea :)

  5. Wow! That is just awesome that you have your Great Grandma's bowls! I've never heard of Watt pottery before, now I will have to keep my eye out for it. And all of the other treasures you have are wonderful, too, especially since you use and enjoy them! I have my Mom's big yellow ware bowl (there is no maker's mark on the bottom), and it has blue stripes on it. It's really heavy! I remember helping her make chocolate chip cookies in it (I loved cookie baking, because I love to eat the dough...still do) 'til she got her Kitchenaide mixer. Thanks for sharing!!

  7. Oh, Tete...I love your Watt's bowls and all the things from all your relatives. Isn't it wonderful to have all those memories connected to those items? They would never have dreamed that someday you would be cherishing them like you do. A wonderful post- Hugs-Diana
