Raymond made it in and is on his way to Carle now...he should be able to see his dad before he crosses...Harold's pastor called this morning...there have been so many that God has sent to Steve to make this easier on him...and they keep coming...the chaplain at Carle comes in 3 times a day to pray and talk...hospice comes in...the nurses and doctors...family...friends...too many to ever mention...and the ones who sit quietly in the background with prayers...have all made a difference...every hand seen and unseen...we have felt...thank you...
The hospice nurse came in this morning and said that he is getting ready to make his journey. He has had a surge of energy and they do that in the final push to go. Steve's cousin stayed with him last night and let Steve come home and get some sleep. He left a little before 7am to go back and let her go home. Steve had been there 48 hours without relief. He got a good night's rest and is ready to go again.
