The God Box...

I finally made my first one!
this one I will use myself...
I heard about this on Rebecca's Ella Mae's Barn Gathering blog...
and I put it on the desk next to the computer...
so when I find someone asking for prayer...
yep...
right then it will go in the GOD BOX...
and it's right by the phone, too...
you can click on these to enlarge them to read...
she posted about this and how it got it's start...
and I have these that I have been saving...
so I printed off some things like...
vintage wall paper and definitions of prayer, hope, believe and faith...
throw in a couple angels and a birdie in a silver sugar bowl...
then I just started gluing it on...
then with the scrap paper...
I wrote my first prayer for the GOD BOX...
and with some more scrap...
I made the lid pretty...
then I folded my prayer...
and dropped it in for GOD to take care of...
pringle cans have a silver lining...
along with a few crums that didn't shake out...
but there it is...
my first one...
and when it's full...
I will make another one...
and maybe add some lace and a bow...

  2. What a great idea! I am praying daily for Debbie, too. Especially Tuesday. And hey, I think you forgot something on your box! You guessed right, you need some glitter! Lots of glitter:)!

Finally had my hair cut, I now have bangs, love that it covers the old lady forehead wrinkles.... My Sister thought I was just seeing things, but I

  7. Cute Idea, You can have another one for Valentine's Day. I made pringle boxes and put scrap papers and fill it with school and Christmas candies for my nieces and nephews. It is one thing anyone can do and for all occasions. Have a good week.
