but before I go...
I wanted to share some of my new postcards...
I got these from ebay and I love them...
here are 2 new embossed Easter ones...
they really need cleaned...
and these...
some of the postcards are so clean and in near mint condition...
and then here is a sneak peek of my collection of large letter postcards...
I do collect the ones with family names on them...
but these are the ones I started out with...
I got so many new ones today...
and had fun putting them in my album...
acid free, of course...
there are so many different ones...
and maybe I can get some scanned to post on here so you can see them better...
and use them if you want...
the ice is about double what it was before...
but we still have power and so does Rebecca...
so we are good to go...
had my shower and washed my hair really good, just in case it doesn't happen for a couple of days...
schools are already cancelled for tomorrow, so there are some happy kids tonight...
glad it's good for someone...
Beautiful..I love post cards..what a great way to show art..

But, I must re-comment and say that is the first time I have seen a post card of any sort to say "To My Kid"..I have a friend who calls her child 'my kid' and for some reason it just does not sit right with me..maybe I'm just being silly, but here it is..right in front of me...WOW!
ReplyDeleteokay..good night..

Tete, those are so pretty. I love the two with the violets and the baskets! BRRR, that ice looks nasty. Stay warm and I hope you don't loose power. Hugs, Nan
ReplyDeleteThose are darling post cards, Tete. You have a really nice collection going! I have never seen one that says to My Kid either...I think that is quite comical! Does that herald back to the 1930/40 era...like in...Here's looking at you kid? Just wondering~ Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteI always admire your beautiful postcards. You even make an album for them, very neat.
ReplyDeleteI've extended an award for you, please feel free to pick it up when you're free ya... good night and sleep tight!
hugs
