WHEN WE GOT UP THIS MORNING...
THIS IS ALL WE COULD SEE...
IT WAS -10 WITH A WINDCHILL OF -24...
AND THE 25 MPH WINDS DIDN'T HAPPEN!...
SO MY BRAVE SON...
RISKED FROST BITE TO GET THIS PHOTO...
10 SECONDS OF OPENING THE DOOR AND CLICK...
THEN SHUTTING IT AS FAST AS HE COULD...
BACK DOOR IS FROZEN SHUT...
BUT THE SUN IS OUT...
AND THE FROSTY PANES STARTED MELTING...
AND WE COULD SEE THE TRAIN...
POOR GUYS WHO ARE LOADING THIS TODAY...
AND MR WIGGLES WAS PERPLEXED...
HE THOUGHT HIS EYESIGHT WAS GOING...
AND HE WAS CONCERNED...
BUT WE RELIEVED HIS WORRIES...
WHEN THE FRONT DOOR WAS OPENED MOMENTARILY...
AND MY SUPPER LAST NIGHT...
IT WAS SO GOOD...
I HAVE A FISH THING...
I LOVE IT...
ANYWAY I CAN GET IT...
SO FISH STICKS WITH WHITE FLOUR GRAVY...
(DON'T KNOCK IT TILL YOU TRY IT)
AND THE BEST BRUSSEL SPROUTS ON THE PLANET...
GREEN GIANT FROZEN...
OH, MAN...
WAS THAT GOOD...
UPDATE ON THE WEATHER HERE...
WE ARE ABOVE FREEZING!
IT IS NOW 1 OUT...
SO IF THIS STUFF IS HEADING YOUR WAY...
IT'S NOT GOING TO LAST LONG...
10 DAY FORECAST DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING ABOUT FREEZING...
BUT THEN FEBRUARY IS COMING...
AND THEN MARCH...
IT HAS TO GET WARMER SOME TIME...
RIGHT?
Those are some great photos. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteGreat frozen photos. Don't you haet it when it's so cold the inside of your nose freezes. That's how I gauge how cold it is.
ReplyDeletePretty pictures, Tete! If you like fish, you should try salmon patties. Take canned salmon, clean it up, smash it and add a couple of eggs and some bread crumbs, make patties and fry them. You can make peas with white sauce to put over them if you like.

It's 8 degrees here right now, and it will be a steamy 19 tomorrow! I know it's cold where you are, but those pics sure are pretty. And you managed to make my mouth water when I saw those brussel sprouts. YUM-MY!
ReplyDeleteBrrr..it is cold here too. It is funny the different "tastes" different areas of the country have, isn't it? Growing up in PA everyone served gravy with French Fries (even the restaurants)....and when I make brussel sprouts I always dash a bit of nutmeg on them...try that sometime. Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteAmazing how those frosty things on your window panes.Stay warm. Its suppose to be in the teens and down to 8deg Sunday.BRRR.
ReplyDeleteNancy
so cold...brrrrrr I thought I had finger frostbite after I took those pics yesterday afternoon and I had my gloves on!
ReplyDeleteTete, I thought those first 2 pics were just something you had created on the computer at first. Wow-that is tooooo cold. It is single digits here tonight and wind chill below zero. Our poor critters--I hate it when it is this cold for them. We do all we can to keep them warm but it’s just too cold for any living creature to be without real heat :( Stay warm friend.
