a February sunrise...prairie style...

good morning from the prairie...
DH grabbed this one this morning...
just before this the moon was bright orange...
he was so disappointed he missed it...
brought the camera back and said it's no good...
when I downloaded it, he was already gone...
I don't think he missed it at all...
love it!
and more of my goodie box from Cheryl's ZanyMayd etsy shop...
her prices are so reasonable...
so I picked up a LOT of vintage light fixtures...
art deco...
beautiful colors...
not sure what I'm going to do with it...
but you know me...
I may just stick a ball on top...
here's the other one...
they just say centerpiece to me...
and these came with them...
heart shaped key...
pretty cool...
and then I'm a sucker for pressed glass...
just look at this...
good for all things that need to be gathered...
like cadbury eggs...
when I get some blooms...
I want to float them in here this summer...
maybe even this spring...
purty...
been up since 3am...
DH had a terrible night tossing and turning...
even rolled over on Bebe...
he never does that...
little guy came out of the blankets growling so we got up...
made ham and eggs for breakfast...
blogged...
shopped online at Sears!
ordered a cake pan, cutting board mats and solar lights that are on sale half off!
got 2 sets of those...
just like my stainless steel ones that have croaked...
but in BLACK!
$12 something for 6...
so that may be the most awesome thing I do today...
and Bebe and I are going back to bed...

  1. Tete - I know the feeling of the 'missed picture'.. you can read about that on my "Fly Me To the Moon" post. http://tranquilacresofalexandriatwp.blogspot.com/2010/12/fly-me-to-moon.html where I was frantically chasing the Lunar Eclipse last year.. However, as you have shown the picture came out just perfect! I have that same pressed glass! :)

  2. I think that little base is way to cute to use for a football stand;>)

Our moon was a cold white color last night and this morning. Isn't it funny how different it looks in different areas? hugs-Diana

Sweet Tete, I apologize to you. We have been exchanging comments for a while and I love visiting you and your comments as well. I just hit the follow button and was shocked to see that I had never followed you. I care about your friendship. Hugs, Honey
