and barefoot boys and little dogs...
sweeping slush...
star lights...
up in the top of the tree a little bird sang and a honey bee flew around...
and I watched Craig bust the ice and took some photos of some of my favorite things...
that I hadn't seen in awhile...
and the park benches are wonderful to sit on in the sun...
and Craig said the ice was flipping us off...
so he busted it...
and he backed up the car, finally...
told him to do it this morning so the sun could melt the ice...
but those crazy kids who think they know EVERYTHING...
don't listen to old people...
so they have to so it the hard way...
with a shovel...
some more green- not sure what it is...
but it's green and that's all that matters today...
see how green the grass is already...
there is some brown and some old leaves from last fall...
but the first mowing will take care of them...
there are so many things for Robbie to smell...
I'm sure there will be some bigger changes when we get up in the morning...
it's been dark for awhile and it's still 59...
I have my bathroom window open...
fresh air!
HeY Tete, Happy Belated Valentine's Day... Look like you'd been busy taking photos and doing crafts. We hit in the low 40's and now we'll be in the 50's on Thurs and Fri,then back in the 30's and snow again.. GRRRR and BRRR.. Enjoy your week.

Isn't it wonderful when we can open the windows and get some fresh air. Glad things are thawing a bit.
ReplyDeleteIt was warm here too, near 60, today and is supposed to be the same tomorrow. That barefoot boy must have been freezing his feet!! Our snow and ice look about the same here. It felt wonderful outside but of course with the melting snow comes the appearance of a winter's worth of doggie "droppings". (Even worse in the horses small pasture!!) That's always a "nice" springtime job : ))
ReplyDeleteThankyou for always stopping by. I enjoy your comments so much Tete.
Tete- I love seeing your "real life" photos...but I gotta tell you- the one that takes the cake today is the Ice Flip Off! I laughed right out loud over that. Have a great night-off to bed for me-I have to be up by 4am. Still no word on our friend. Hugs-Diana
