and I cut it open last night...
just look at how red...
and it was good...
but this one had more seeds than these little ones normally do...
but it was still wonderful...
hard to imagine eating watermelon when it's in the 20s...
got down to 27 last night...
but...
and this is a big BUT!
not to be confused with a BIG BUTT...
the S*#@ went south and missed us completely!
yippee skippie!
thanks, everyone, on your very kind comments on my earlier post...
Dear Tete,
ReplyDeleteMy mouth is watering over that lovely melon..it sure is red..was it sweet too? Yummy, yum! We also were lucky that we missed the snow as it just remained south of us enough that the Cape had to deal with it! But.. it sure is cold!!!
Have a nice day,
Shirley
That makes me long for watermelon,Tete...and strawberries. I am missing fresh summer fruit now! Glad the snow missed you..unfortunately, it hit my kids driving North. hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great melon and it is wonderful to be able to eat it when the temp is below freezing.
