it can't make up it's mind!

it rains, then the sun comes out, then it rains, then the sun comes out...
but when the sun is out the birds are singing...
there is a well hidden nest up there just above the x...
the skies have been different all day long...
thought we were going to be able to sit outside this morning...
but at 47, I decided to wait...
we have got a balmy 58 now...
but that chilly wind is back again...
more bedding plants...
Craig loves these and they do nothing for me...
but this is mine...
decided to do the pink petunias anyway...
and I decided to give this a go again...
haven't used dusty miller in years!
but it will give the pots a different hue and texture...
and I got more of the rose moss in the purple pink color...
I think a hanging basket with them will be awesome!

mower guy called and will be here this afternoon to mow what he can...
the death toll in the south is over 250 now and still climbing...
I walked around outside and it is just so hard to imagine digging for people on a day like this...
trying to find your family, friends or neighbors...
sorting through broken pieces for all the little things that cannot be replaced...
starting over...

I just spent the morning with both of my boys...
just talking, walking and eating lunch together...
like when they were little...
getting an update on the death toll every now and then...
but other than that...
we were just together...
and I know we were all thinking the same thing...
we were grateful we were spared...
that it wasn't us...
and that the best place to be today...
was together...
who ever you have around you today...
hug 'em...
you may not get another chance...

The south is really getting the severe weather this spring. I wait to see what will happen next. It's been so damaging and my prayers go out to so many families.
