are you ready to go for a ride with Craig and I?
we drove around a bit on the way to the post office yesterday...
anhydrous sprayers waiting to get back into the fields...
it's a little wet right now...
a new manufactured home...
fixing the porch...
next to the golf course...
a friend of ours...
another friend...
love the trellis around the garage door...
this used to be an antique shop a few years ago...
now it is a private residence...
old farm antiques are a favorite to decorate the yards with...
and old shed...
tulips in front of the high school...
flowering trees on every street...
and wonderful old homes...
were the kids play volley ball and basket ball...
another old shed that defies gravity...
our voluteer fire department...
our car wash...
and one of many fields that surround us...
hope you had a good time...
come back and maybe we go again!
We go to Central Illinois about every 5 years and these scenes are very familiar. Looks like a lovely town.
ReplyDeletemiss the antique store! Do you remember years ago there was a lady that had a shop on the south west corner and she sold herbs and things made with herbs...I loved that place!
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun post, Tete! I enjoyed seeing a bit of your town. I grew up in a small town (400). There's nothing like a small town!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!!! Beth
