and we were out here first thing working on these...
the old fence sections were not put together well to begin with...
whoever made them used little bitty white indoor craft nails and then when those didn't work...
they used drywall screws...
so we are using small shingle nails with grips and they are galvanized so they will not rust...
we got 2 of these sections done before I got sick...
the frames are free...
DH brings them home from work- they were going in the dumpster...
and here is one standing...
we have 3 more to do...
when I feel like it...
and it was another beautiful day...
but most of it was spent sitting here on the porch, on the toilet or at the kitchen table...
things are getting a little bit better...
but soon the sun will go down and I will have missed another day...
there is an airplane up there...
going somewhere...
maybe New York...
Craig hit a rummage sale today and spent a couple bucks...
christmas candle rings...
a garbage bag of silks...
a star...
and a 25 cent turkey with berry sprig tail feathers...
yeah, it made me grin...
I don't decorate for Thanksgiving very much...
but I think this guy is going on the mantle...
Lord, send me better days!
I so miss playing outside!
have a great evening and don't forget to wish on those shooting stars...
and...
pray for those on the east coast who might have to dodge Irene...
an earthquake and a hurricane all in one week...
now that's exciting...
and scary...
hang in there...
I hope you feel better soon!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was nicer out today than I thought it would be. I even worked in the yard until the misquito's starting eating me up!
