waiting on the rain...

been waiting all day...
and nothing happened...
there's nothing to really do except water...
everything is too stressed to move and the ground is too hard to dig anyway...
so...
a day of finding things to stock the booth with...
found some Christmas things...
you know it's coming...
and some boo things...
and I did these last year and never did get them out there...
didn't even put a hanging uppy thingy on them...
drilling tomorrow...
then pricing them and loading them into the tote to head for Copper Eagle...

congrats to NanaDiana on her 36th wedding anniversary!
hope you are having a fun time on your weekend get away...
and prayers for Jettie's family...
her nephew lost his wife to the never ending battle with cancer...

sometimes it's hard to give back something we have had and cherished  for awhile...
especially when it's a loving member of the family...
but in His wisdom...
He knows what's best for all...
and while we have no understanding of why things happen...
He gave us faith to carry us through...
faith in His love for us all...
faith in knowing He is doing the best for us...
faith that there is an ever after...
but that doesn't mean your heart doesn't break...
and it doesn't mean the tears won't come...
and it certainly doesn't mean that there will forever be something missing in your life...
it does mean...
that this life isn't forever...
that we will all be together on the other side...
that death is not final...
it's a transformation...
into peace, perfection, joy, love...
and in God's time...
we will all follow...

have a great weekend...

  2. Tete- Your wisdom and thoughts and kind words never cease to amaze me. Thank you for mentioning me AND Jettie. We are all just sisters under the skin, aren't we? Hope you have fun stocking your booth and sell a ton of stuff! xo Diana

  3. I hope your rain finally arrived. We had showers last night and this morning, always nice to wake to the sound of raindrops hitting the leaves and thirsty ground.

Thank you Tete, for the wonderful words, yes, Nancy will be missed, and it is hard to imagine how Ken will deal with this loss, they married as young teens, 45 years ago.

Happy Anniversary to Diana and hubby, I hope their mini vacation is wonderful.
