still growing...
still blooming...
and it has new red growth on it...
crazy rose bush...
my cast iron snowflake that Rebecca gave me last year...
its trying to be sunny...
and thus, my brief walk outside...
didn't get very far...
the wind is so cold...
to paint, or not to paint...
the bright blue sleigh...
spray paint it white?
winter park scene...
hanging balls...
I love the giant snow flake, Tete. And while blue is my very favorite color, I say go ahead and spray paint it white or creamy white! And while you are at it, be sure to dust it in you know what:) Oh, in answer to your glitter question: No there really isn't much that I DON'T cover with the stuff. Pretty soon, Missy, you just may find yourself doused in it head to toe next time I fly over on my way home to MI!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! The GLITTER QUEEN has found her way to your blog! OH NO! Soon you, too, will be glittered from head to toe...twittering and glittering...oh no!
ReplyDeleteAnd, Missy, I got your smart remark there..hanging indeed~ You are even MORE warped than I am~ xo Diana
From my part of the world I say, leave the sled blue... it's one less thing to do, plus it's cute just way it looks.. Besides, you could always add glitter to anything old.. OK, I'll be dipping myself in a bottle of glitter now.. LOL!

Ok, I see that Miz Nana Diana is spreading viscous rumors about me yet again here on your blog, Tete! She seems to be forgetting that Wisconsin is in my flight path, too! haha! And I see that Leslie said you needed to glitter your sleigh, so I think you are now officially outnumbered!!!
ReplyDeleteI still have geraniums, allisyums and my minature hollyhocks...I almost took a pic to them blooming today with snow on them! thought of u as I passed thru Oakland today!
ReplyDeleteLeave it blue, it is beautiful...
ReplyDeleteDid I miss something that sis said to upset someone, lol. That Nana is a mess, but she is a good sis.
Leave the blue. SO many things are painted white...It's a beautiful POP of blue for the winter whites and greys of January and February...Leave it out and put snowmen and candies in it after Christmas. :-) Just my 2 cents..:-)
ReplyDeleteLove the snowflake. Preeeettty.ah..we have made it down to 10 degrees as of yet...so all is gone here...the impatience hang frozen and sad over the windowbox...need to go clean that up. I can handle the cold okay...I think...(ask me after February) this Southern girl is having a HARD time with the winds...brrrrrr. may be inside a LOT this winter, so those little pops of color in the house will mean a lot to me here... Hugs to you Tete!!!! Make it a good day. xoxoxo
Hey Tete, today is the day I get to play catch up on Blogging... That's right, I am over my daughters, I may not be able to use the computer at home, but I am viewing it as a Blessing, getting so much work done at home~ It is Cold here & a bright sky too, I can't say that anything is still growing, yet when I look at the grass it is still Green ~ tomorrow we are expecting a bit of snow, but nothing to worry about.... Hope your doing well, I will be back next week, to again, play catch up!

We have NOTHING growing outside! except a few icicles.
ReplyDeleteThe sleigh is sweet just the way it is, but would also look nice painted white with some glitter..as the glitter queen suggested.
Oh yeah...what's with the hanging balls???? Diana????
xxxooo
Tete, love your tree and snowflake, if you are tired of the blue, sure paint it, easy fix, but it is cute blue, too...Have a great Christmas, friend!
ReplyDeleteLezlee
We, too, are having roses still blooming & my hyacinths were about 2" out of the ground. Oy! I think yesterday took care of them, tho. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!
ReplyDeleteLove your background.
Love your silver tree, Tete.
Merry Christmas
