started playing around today...
and with some extras that I have been holding onto for a long time...
we came up with this...
now all these pieces I have had for sale in my booths over the years...
they have been extra loved and have a few stains and tears...
but I guess no one saw the potential like I did...
their loss, my gain...
cause you getta keep what you don't sell..
right?
we have a really nice breeze today and its in the upper 70s low 80s...
looks like Daphne will be the first to try out the new sleepy arrangements...
Craig and I tried it out, but still not soft enough for me to sleep on...
I am thinking air mattress, or better yet, later on...
an old iron bed...
or 2 twins...
and positively more pillows...
have tons of vintage cases...
its great for sitting though and flipping through magazines...
sipping Crystal Lite...
strawberry kiwi today...
y'all stop by when you get time...
you know where to find me...
I'm headed right over, Tete for a tall glass of lemonade! I just love your new porch, how fun! And I also really love your flower "bed", that green is awesome! Yes, add lots more pillows:) And I feel the same way about my treasures that don't sell, all the more fun for me to play with! Enjoy!!!

What a wonderful spot to rest and enjoy God's wonderful creations.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I go and sprawl out on the rattan settee on our porch with a magazine, turn on some music, birds are chirping... and next thing I know...I am WAKING UP!!!...no kidding. It's almost better than my bed. There is a fan going overhead and I just start to nod off. lol. I hope the same thing for you Tete! I am happy you have your new "retreat" to go out and play and relax and dream and churn out all those creative ideas and put them into Real Life living. yup...those kitties are just looking at that camera like "oh yeah mom...thanks for the new digs...gonna go curl up on my sweet bed...ciao!" YOU are having fun. :-) (hugs) xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe deck looks awesome, a GREAT place for relaxing, eating, sleeping, reading a magazine...you have created a haven, Tete!
ReplyDeleteI think someone is lost out on that deck and can't find her puter.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame her, I'd enjoy it too.
I think you created a beautiful space and the buyers are certainly the ones who lost out. You set up a beautiful area to relax. I could come over and read my book! :)
