we spent the day in the yard...
thinking about our dads...
his gone and mine to soon move on...
and the day was for him today...
just him...
we made homemade pizza for a late lunch...
my simple, smaller version...
and we tried to take a nap...
but my bestie called and we had a fun talk...
so we went back out and sat in the glider...
and he watched while I took some more photos...
sedum is huge!
then we took a walk all the way to the end of the street and back...
back inside to blog and for me to get my meds and something to eat...
they are still full and will eat a little bit later...
we didn't get the rain that skipped through...
but others got it, so maybe they needed it more than we do...
so we are still watering...
and things are still blooming...
day lilies are popping open all over...
and the yard looks like toast...
buck corns are up and that's about it...
I hope you had a good day with your dad, your memories of your dad or the father of your children...
time with those we love is well spent...
and never regretted...
I enjoyed my guy today...
you gotta love a man who can put with me...
I love u Tete! I really enjoyed our evening together last Friday. Thanks for being my best friend!

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a wonderful day. I can see that you are ALL enjoying your new deck. I hope your other son popped by to see his Dad, too.
Your plants are so lovely. We are watering, too, and I just realized that I had forgotten to water my rose bush for the last couple of days so I hope it makes it. We have been missed by all the rain, too.
Tete, tomorrow when I am a little more "with it"...yeah...hahahahaha...I have a woman that follows me that is trying to figure out how to do something- You know me- clueless.. anyway, she is a very sweet person so I am going to forward her email to you and if you would kindly..see if you can help her.
Love to you-All the troops here headed home and it was a long, but wonderful, day-xo Diana
