back roads are the best roads...
very hazy today...
almost ready to pick...
can you say "fall"?...
these beans are the best looking we have seen...
but whole fields are coming up with no seed pods...
the blossoms fell off...
or nothing in the pods...
a drought is the perfect time to build a pond...
bottom of the pond...
vulture...
praying for the rain that might happen this evening...
we have the clouds rolling in...
just waiting to see if they are full...
quiet day...
stay inside day...
heat advisory...
waiting for the cooling off that's coming...
good afternoon for a nap...
and off I go...
What a pleasant ride down some neat country roads.
ReplyDeleteI especially enjoyed the sunflowers.
I hope you get some rain, Tete.
Big hugs.

Well.....we had storm warnings earlier tonight with rain headed our way. We took down the hanging baskets and battened down the hatches.......
ReplyDeleteWe heard the thunder and the pitter patter of rain....
for 5 minutes.
Then nothing.
Sure hope you got something there, Tete!
xoxo laurie
What a great ride. I love the way you see things, Tete, and then translate them to your blog. I hope you had a good nap and I hope you get some rain soon- xo Diana

ReplyDeleteGreat photos today. I especially like the first one and the shot of the corn (now that one does indeed look like fall)! What crazy weather this year!
