are you thinking ahead at all?
of when blooms fill the gardens?
the flowers are pretty, but look at what they are in...
so, I am thinking now is the time to hunt out the thrift shops, resale shops, antique shops...
for something you can put those blooms in when they get here...
be prepared for all kinds of wonders from your gardens, beds and even your friends' yards too...
because you never know what's going to jump in your basket on your walk abouts...
and you always want to be prepared for that...
and in the meantime, you can use them...
you know, just to break them in a little...
and don't forget to save all those little glass jars while you are cooking all the comfort food...
so while the snow is piling up and the northern winds are blowing...
think blooms...
so you're ready when they come...
and they are coming...

I have some of those things, and they may be planters this year.
Thanks for the reminder that spring is just around the next curve.
I can almost smell those lilacs, Tete! Love the fun container ideas. And the glass bottles are fun, too. I have a few small cobalt blue vintage little bottles that I've uses for mini vases for years. So fun!
I think I'll have to come back to this post a couple times a week to remind myself spring is coming-
beautiful flowers.
Are they here yet? WHERE are the blooms? The only blooms I see now is in the rosy red of the kids' cheeks. I can't wait for Spring- xo Diana
