good morning!
just a quick show of how part of the kitchen was regrouped after the Christmas decor came down...
there are junior mints in that pressed glass bowl...
within arms reach of me when I am at the kitchen table...
put up some snowflakes when we moved the mantle and just kept the garland I used for Christmas for a wintery feel...
and if you look closely...
there is glitter on those dern things...
I am sure Donna is dancing with joy...
;)
I won this on someone's blog over a year ago and just love it...
a little journal, which I will use someday...
but just looking for the right inspirational thing to do in it...
maybe some of my thoughts and quotes that I use here on the blog...
maybe something to pass down to a grand daughter...
if I ever get one!
and DH came home last weekend from my meds run with this little guy for me...
I now have adopted 4 of them officially and they are in the kitchen...
always looking out for them now...
they match my sock monkey house slippers and hat...
I think I need a sock monkey shirt...
and here is your thought for the day...
its still early in the new year to start this...
I think I am going to do it...
I wonder how many jars I can fill up?
well, the weekend is upon us once again...
take a smile out there with you give it away to everyone...
you never know who you might touch...
don't forget to take photos and post your fun!
Happy weekend to you, and I like sock monkeys too. They are cheery looking.
ReplyDeleteCute little sock monkey guys-I've never seen slippers as sock monkeys. You should post a pic of them sometime but I won't look cuz sock monkeys freak me out-LOL
ReplyDeleteGlitter, did I see Glitter in Tete's house? Love it! I also really love the pressed glass pedestal bowl. And the jar idea is a great one! Sock monkey slippers sound fun!!
ReplyDeleteOh-You know I love your silly sock monkeys! I hope that you can get some sock monkey nighties someday- now wouldn't THAT be cute? A matching hat would be a nice touch, too! xo Diana
