straight line winds caused some major damage last night 8 miles south of us...
this is the town I worked in at the antique mall...
this is where we go to the deli...
they were without power for 10 hours...
the trucks kept getting stuck in the muddy fields...
debris is everywhere...
the roof of Ashmore Estates was blown off...
at least 20 power poles where snapped in half...
a very nice man from there took all these photos this morning and posted them online...
that's the John Deere dealership...
3 grain bins are the elevator are gone...
these guys worked so hard today...
and they got the power back on just in time for cold temps tonight...
its just now at 31...
snow coming in tonight and tomorrow...
we are fine here...
no one was hurt in the storm...
they have a lot of clean up to do...
but they are a small town like us and we all just pitch in until its done...
they will have it cleaned up soon...
hope you all are safe...
this storm packed a wallop and it hit other places as it passed through...
pray for those not so lucky...
the ones who have to clean up...
and bless those men and women who come in and put things back together...
Glad you are ok, Tete. You had quite a storm! We got 6" of snow and it's getting very, very cold. Hope you are doing well, my friend.
