lunch, sunspot and shadows...

my lunch today...
that's toasted turkey sandwiches on sliced french bread...
one of 2 bread sources that I can eat...
mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts...
big yum there...

and then this afternoon...
ta-da...
a sunspot...
and shadows happened...

fun shadows...

wished I had more south facing windows...

I love the light coming it...
but it only reaches the kitchen from the living room window when the sun is setting...
and it last only briefly...
very briefly...
time to find someone with a chain saw and cut me a window or two...
do you think DH would go for that???
nah...
I will have to have it done while he's at work...

fibro day and sore...
took it easy...
will hit it again tomorrow...

keep praying for our country...
my heart just aches the more I read and the more I hear...
we are in such need of God's hand...
now, more than ever...

  1. Sorry you had a fibro day, Tete. I know how miserable they are. I love your photos- lunch looks GOOD! I really like the play of sun and shadows in a house, too. xo Diana

  3. Your photos are so sweet! I am smiling! I love those shadows they cast over your treasures! Sigh!

I love your lunch! YUM! I have a recipe to make brussell sprouts with a balsamic vinegar! Supposedly they are addictive! YUM!

Feel better! I am sorry you are hurting. Your prayer request is one that weighs heavily on my mind. Our country is in absolute despair with the Hitler like heavy hand of our government! I am sick over this new payroll tax! They just take and take and take and never give the taxpayer a hand! We are there only for the handouts! Oh there is so much going on here. I am praying.
    Have a better day tomorrow!

    Hugs and Blessings

  4. Hi Tete, Your lunch looks good. I think you are a very good cook. Hope you are feeling better today. Have a good one!
I'm praying that the Holy Spirit will move mightily in my neighborhood, my nation, my world, and in the White House and legislature. God is awesome, but He does allow us our free will and we do reap what we sow.

  6. Praying that things change in our country. They keep talking about the working poor, we'll we've been working poor all our lives, and never have gotten anything but hassled.

Hope you are feeling better, it is snowing again, in Arkansas.
