it came...

it start in with sleet and snow mid afternoon...

across the field...

it didn't take long...

and within a couple of hours we had 4 inches of that...

and then freezing rain on top of that...

must have caught the birds off guard...

they scrambled to the feeder as it began to hit...

an hour later...

Pooder getting some Daphne love...
Daphne doesn't like anyone...
but she will tolerate Pooder briefly...
only because he is submissive and shows zero aggression toward her...
he got about 3 minutes of one on one this morning...
and then she got up and left him there...

the ice is on the trees and power lines...
winds are high...
but the radar just showed that it should be done...
so hopefully, the power lines will stay were they should...

;)

  1. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the lights stay on and you don't get any more. It looks like it might of stopped for us, but I don't think I am going to work tomorrow. I think I will take another day off. My family that had to work today made it home o.k.. They were telling everyone to stay home if they didn't have to get out. Schools are already cancelled for tomorrow. Have a good evening and stay warm and safe. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

  2. What crazy weather! It is so hard to believe for us in the South. We have been in the mid 70's for weeks now. No winter at all. I am afraid what is in store for us this Summer!Have a great weekend!

  3. Looks as if Pooder is feeling better. Glad Dauphy loved him a bit.
