Happy Birthday, Dad...
he would have been 78 today...
the funeral is going to be Monday afternoon...
and we will not be trying to go...
just too far for me...
but that's ok, because we talked about it long ago...
Blessings to you, to know your limitations, and not hurt yourself by going. Your father isn't there, only the shell he wore while here. He gets to spend his birthday with Jesus and the rest of the family this year.

Happy Birthday to your Dad-what a wonderful way to celebrate in heaven. It would still niggle me a bit to not be able to go, even knowing it's not the thing you can do. Prayers to you all.
This will be his happiest birthday ever! What a party it will be! You are with him in spirit, Tete...that's as close as you can be. God bless you, sweet friend. Love to you. xo
