the first photos are from our yard...
the colors are finally happening here...
not as bright as we normally have...
but better than all browns...
we had rain all day yesterday...
and not one trick or treater...
they announced that trick or treat would be tonight, too...
so we still have another chance...
and this is the last photo from here...
the next few are the pond at the golf course...
DH got off early, so we took a drive around town...
I love this pond...
and then we went a little ways out town...
before he headed home...
enough rain to slow the farmers down...
they don't have much to do...
but most are finished...
how was your halloween?
wrapping toy donation boxes for Christmas Is A Child this morning...
and getting them out in the local businesses...
its that time of the year again...
the donation canisters have been out awhile now and the donations are slowly starting to trickle in...
then it will be one mad push and it will be over before we know it...
if you're smart, you're at walmart right now getting all the halloween candy for half price...
;)
have a great day and stay out of the kids buckets!
Great photos! It's a typical Fall day here too. Trees left with only half of their leaves. Heavy cloud cover. Raining on and off. A good day to stay inside, and do some baking.
ReplyDeleteBless your heart, Tete. You are always doing something for others...like the gift boxes for the less fortunate. Taking care of all of those kitties. You are a gem.
Have a good weekend, sweet friend.
xo
Tete, I love your fall photos. we are finally having beautiful colors...the rain took it toll on lots of trees...we had 3 inches of rain. Enough. I thought about you the past two days...I was wearing sweatshirts. :):) Nice that your husband takes you for little drives. Hope your weekend is great. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteYep. I agree with Debbie, Tete. You have such a good, compassionate heart! I'll be out blowing all the leaves back into the woods come Sunday when we're supposed to have some sunshine...finally! But the trees do look so pretty right now!

ReplyDeleteWe have never had a trick or treater here and each year I buy candy in hopes we will. Well that is what I tell my hubby anyway. Enjoying chocolate and blogs tonight. I highly recommend it.
