I did something yesterday that I haven't done in a long time...
I played in my drawers...
no, not those drawers...
my craft supply drawers...
and I made a valentine...
for the old guy who lives here...
those metal clamps let it dry flat...
and would you believe he finally went to the doctor?
and the xrays showed that there is a possible fracture inside the elbow...
and he has to see the ortho doctor tomorrow afternoon...
and the doctor today gave him a sling and told him to use it...
got back to work and he couldn't work outside in his sling...
so he got an office job...
the ortho doc may be able to read the xrays better or he may need an MRI...
and possible surgery...
nothing like waiting a whole week to have something done...
on a good note...
the long range forecast has us at 50 by next Wednesday...
woo hoo!
let the melting begin, I say...
and if DH is really good and heals fast...
he should be mended just in time to help with the spring clean up and planting!
what a guy...
:)
have a good day and stay warm just a bit longer...
we have record breaking cold temps overnight here...
wind chill of -21...
and maybe a tad colder than that...
I am so excited about that 50 coming our way!
I hope the repair won't require surgery, I have to say that elbow surgery is a long drawn out recovery.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for planting in the garden. Love the valentine.
He went to a doctor!!!! Hooray! Then he deserves a pretty Valentine!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes with the final diagnosis.
But mean time... I told ya'. A sling! A Photo Op!!!!!!
-ducking, running and hiding-
Tete, Time to clobber that boy...and here you are making him a valetine. :):) Gosh, I hope he does alright. Oh yeah girl it was -18 this morning and warming to 16 above. Later this week maybe 30, now I am loving that. If all this snow melts, I sure hopes it is slowly...so no floods. Enjoy your day making crafts. xoxo,Susie
