after all of that stuff that we got the night before melted...
this started happening again...
and this is what we had before it got dark...
surprised me!
I have the dunce cap on and I am sitting in the corner today...
I am home alone again today, so trying to work on some individual shots of the birds this morning...
he is a very young one...
and they all seem to get along together...
but this morning, I spotted a bit of orange...
oriole...
got a pair...
and after the starlings head to another part of the neighborhood, the snow birds come back...
I do like the feeder closer...
its about 15 feet nearer to the kitchen window now...
got to get these shots in before it warms up...
the cats will be out there when that happens and not so many birds...
I made time this morning to clean out some of my drawers...
so when the mood strikes me, I can find stuff...
got a load of laundry in...
eating some soup right now...
cleaned off the desk, the printer and the book cases...
dried off one of the babies...
he was playing duck in the water bowl...
so we talked about the differences between a duck and a cat while I towel dried little feet and a round belly...
Craig named him waffles, so maybe he heard waddles and just assumed?
maybe a no swimming sign above the water bowl...
I actually think he was embarrassed when he did it...
the others were sitting there watching and gave him the look of 'hey, dude, that's not right'...
and he took off and hid...
someone is sniffing my toes...
got my flip flops on...
and not sure if I told you or not...
but I did shave my legs last week...
donated it to locks of love...
no more gorilla legs!
;)
Locks of love, Tete , you crack me up. :):) The bird pictures are nice. I like that old bicycle you have....I still have not painted my little bike. Slower than molasses, as mom would say. I am not going out today, unless it would warm up a bit. I may hold my face to the sun when I go for the mail. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteSusie blessings. Love your pretty bird takes. Oh I like the bike shot also.
ReplyDeleteYou always make me smile and giggle. I love your kitten story...I could just see you drying him off and telling him he is not a duck...:) Great post!
ReplyDeleteOh so funny, I am still laughing. I must confess, Springtime is here so leg shaving is back on the list. I like hairy legs in the winter, I feel it gives me extra insulation from the cold... or at least that is my excuse!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh, look at that gorgeous oriole. Don't think I ever see those, around here. But then, don't have a year round feeder either.
ReplyDeleteOh that's so funny. One of your baby kitties got embarrassed, after he had taken a bitty bath, in the water bowl. -giggles- This young, and they can get embarrassed when they "goof"... Cats have a very high view of themselves!
Girl you crack me up-seriously, I think we all have lots of locks on our legs during winter. Loved seeing the birds-especially the Orioles.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great evening.
Hugs,
Noreen
