Tuesday night, Craig came home without my test strips for the glucose meter...
and I was completely out...
so, I had taken the antibiotic, which is making me so sick and I grabbed a hamburger...
then we took off...
for walmart, which did not have the script at all, so had to pay full price out of pocket for them, but got the strips and some extras...
I found this fabric there to redo the deck with...
and I found this beautiful blue fruit jar...
and I had an idea, which I will show you later on here...
and I found this, told Craig it would be fun, but only needed one...
when I got home, this was in the bags, too...
he was pretty sneaky, huh?
he paid for it, said I liked that color, so he got it for me...
got some brown terra cotta pots, white plastic eggs, and a birdhouse to paint...
and new shoes for home...
I have had this list of things to look for when I finally got out and ended up getting everything on the list in one night...
that never happens...
we got up yesterday morning to an icky kind of day...
and took off for my drs appointment...
it was at 10:45, so we got up and no internet...
it was so boring waiting on time to leave!
we got out of there at 12:30 and headed to walmart there, shopping around and went to pick up the strips there and there was nothing...
I am so fed up with the walmart pharmacies and trying to get my scripts!
so we left there without them, which reminds me, I need to call them this afternoon...
to see if they ever got it or I need to make another call to the nurse to see what's going on...
left there and hit Burger King on the way out of town...
ate lunch about 2pm and it went downhill from there...
got my garden gloves and some crafty things...
in the 97 cent bins...
and a pack of Easter cards...
and a couple of these dollar solar lights...
for the jars to set on the deck this summer...
see, I will show you the finished project as soon as I figure it out...
one of my whoppers...
I ended up eating 2 yesterday...
Doug and Paula came right when the guys were getting done with supper last night...
I was still too full from eating lunch so late, I hadn't done mine...
Doug had this nasty looking messy rash with red patches of infection on his arm...
I didn't like the looks of it at all, so Doug, Paula, DH and I headed back to the hospital/clinic and the ER...
we got in pretty quick and luckily, it was only a yeast infection with a secondary infection...
not blood poisoning or anything contagious...
they hadn't eaten yet, either, so we asked them where they wanted to eat and they said Burger King...
so we stopped there and went in and ate supper on the way home...
we had a good time...
but I was already worn out from the night before and then yesterday...
LOL- you should of heard me praying in the back seat on the way out of our drive way last night!
Lord, just let me be able to do what I got to do...
you know the kind of prayer...
I needed to go to interpret for Doug...
and to make sure the dr understood him and he understood what the dr was going to tell him...
the Lord blessed me with enough strength to get down what I had to do and even felt good when I got home...
;)
and a new comer...
I don't know what it is, but there's only one and its so pretty...
not sure if its a little snowbird ready to mate or another kind of sparrow...
doc checked me over pretty good...
ordered blood work for Saturday morning...
must fast for it...
they open at 7am...
so another trip for me...
I guess I am making up for the 3 months stuck at home...
when he gets the blood work back, he will decide on what to put me on...
which he is sure metformin twice a day...
and go from there...
and that's the news from here...
I hope your week is going good...
I will around to check on you soon...
right now there is a sink full of dishes, the trash can is full and laundry to put away...
and someone gave me 3 walmart bags crammed full of old towels...
for the animals and the cages...
so I need to sort them out...
that is going to help so much!
I hope to get a nap in there, too!
;)

ReplyDeletewow- That was quite an adventurous day! Glad you got your meds but too bad you had to pay full price for them. I LOVE that fabric you found. Of course, I love florals anyway. Craig is good to you-that is always a great thing to have- a loving son.
ReplyDeleteHave a great night- just catching up a bit here- xo Diana
Tete, if I am not mistaken, that is a purple finch, and yes, I know, it isn't purple.
