there was just one of these earlier yesterday morning...
then in the afternoon, another one showed up...
blue buntings...
and then this guy...
I have no idea...
and the drizzle we had going on finally stopped...
and Craig and I went for a walk...
really dumb idea...
it was cold and windy...
but I did get some photos...
had to make it worth the trip out there...
iris...
peonies...
day lilies, a single lily and iris...
see, I told you it was growing by leaps and bounds...
and so much new is happening over night now...
the sun wasn't out for their photos...
it stayed cloudy almost all day...
and then just before supper...
the sun came out...
Craig filling the bird feeders...
Lester...
upside down...
this is one strange cat...
and kid...
Hermie was there, too...
and all our boys...
Mr Wiggles had to make sure they had the signals right for the next pouncing...
and the sun was gone again, just like that...
and after all the cats came in and were napping...
and the birds had gone to their nests...
I had another visitor...
can you see him?
he is huge...
and he was eating the bird seed!
if you put it out...
they will come...
this is not the typical color of our local bunnies...
and he is really larger than the ones we always have...
kids without a lot of money and room to house big livestock...
raise bunnies and chickens for 4H and to take to the fair at the end of the summer...
I wonder if someone is missing one?
didn't do the chili...
DH brought home whoppers and onion rings...
worked for me...
I had forgot it was his last day of PT at the hospital...
and he did a Kroger run while he was there...
we have fresh strawberries now and green beans again...
doing the chili on Friday...
or tomorrow...
got a lot done today...
washed the curtains and windows in the living room...
cleaned the litter box and did laundry...
just kept busy all day...
even got a nap in...
probably a down day today...
;)
still need to read those books sitting around here...
might just have to work on that...
got some sewing to do, too...
have a good day whatever you do...
and smile...
;)
I'm thinking that bunny is a cross beween a wild and a tame bunny. Aren't the Buntings Beautiful, I saw one at our feeder on Tuesday afternoon.
