while I am waiting on the rain...

and the guys to get home from work...
thought I would do a little post here...
medium pink knock out rose is blooming...

honey suckle, too...

the darker pink/red knock out is so pretty...

I need to dead head the iris..
but they still have so much color...

the lighter ones...

took these last eveing...

its so much cooler here today...
highs in the low 50s and completely cloudy...

columbine are winding down...
and will start seeding soon...

yellow knock out rose will be blooming this weekend...
I will post photos when it does...

got big plans for this weekend...
will have at least one guy here to work for 5 days in a row!
got 2 days where they will both be here and we have plans...
shed is getting cleaned out, for one...
and we are getting the rest of the plants planted, for sure...
painting a few things, too...
a couple cook outs...
and some much needed naps will get going on...

have a safe weekend and remember to enjoy the time you had who are on the other side now...
grateful for all the veterans and what they give up...
their families who support them in what they do...
take a moment to pray for our country and the ones who defend her...

  2. Hi Tete, I was thinking of you this morning as I watch Al Roker do the weather. Sop much rain your way maybe a bit south. I am cold here today. Our furnace came on twice. I am planning on turning it off completely tomorrow. Hope you get to enjoy your fellows and this up coming weekend. I do pray for our service people and their families. I pray for our leaders and our country. Blessings to you dear friend, xoxo,Susie

  4. HI Tete, Love all your flowers; we've had so much rain that I haven't bought any new bushes to plant. Everything is so green here, it's almost like living in Washington. Thanks for sharing.
    Hugs, Noreen
