ready or not, spring has sprung...

daffodils...
and leaves...

crocus...
and leaves...

more daffodils...
and leaves...

another blooming crocus...
and leaves...
do you see a pattern here?
;0)

we have got so much to uncover...

sedum...
and leaves...

tulips...
and leaves...

iris...
and leaves...

dead heading needs done, too...

columbine...
and leaves...

now that we waited too long...
much of this will have to be done by hand...
you cannot put a rake through things when they are up this high without pulling them out or apart...
;0)
guess we will be putting that extra hour of daylight to good use...
;0)

  1. OH...how we love all the signs of spring. Even though we know it will be work to get it ready to 'spring up'... I had our yard guys come this week and clean mine up. Looks nice...... We had so many tree limbs that had broken off and had cluttered the yard. Looks nice today!

    Blessings,

  2. Hi Tete, your garden is really taking off beautifully.Love seeing the new growth. I have the same here. With all the rain, we weren't able to get out and rake. Now it has to be picked up by hand or blown out with the grass blower.
Love your blog background for spring and Easter. Have a nice weekend. xoxo

  3. Tete, Clean up ,isn't easy is it? I hate having to try to get rid of the corn debris and old leaves from the flowerbeds. I told my husband maybe we need to try the leaf blower at times. We have a new crew coming out on Monday and giving us an estimate of what a year's worth of lawn treatments would cost. We have had chem-lawn for about 3 years and are just not satisfied. The man that used to do our lawn passed away...we sure miss that fellow. Hope you can do some work...and don't over do , you've been sick honey. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
