our local golf course went under new management a couple years ago...
a father and son team...
then, the first of this year, they bought it...
and have been busy making it beautiful...
makes me wish I could play again...
we missed the flooding around here so far...
we only got a trace of rain all weekend...
the Illinois State Fair didn't start out so well...
5.5 inches in a couple of hours...
it rained out opening night...
got a few of our local kids there with animals...
and all are doing good...
a little soggy, but ok...
we spent the weekend moving furniture around in the kitchen and living room...
laid carpet in the living room...
we moved my computer into the living room and got me out of the kitchen...
for now, to see if I like it better in here...
got a bunch of tweaking to do, be we love the floor plan now...
got some things to put away and a tote to resort and see what I really need to keep and let the rest go...
but today, I think will be a slow, piddly kind of day...
and a catch up on my rest day...
;o)
hope your weekend was good...
and you weren't in any of the flood areas...
have a grand kind of a day!
Whenever I see "under new management" at any establishment I wonder...but there is no reason to wonder here, the father and son are doing a wonderful job! Beautiful photos. :)
ReplyDeleteTete, We were down in the basement last night(Monday). A tornado whipped up and went thru 4 counties...not touching down the whole time. Thankful for that. But the wall cloud was near my daughter's house. You could see all the rotation from the clouds...like little funnels trying to form and drop down. Scary. Sorry your friends didn't get to show their animals. Rains a bad time for fair goers. Hope you get your computer area just right. I really think that makes a difference. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
