meet the family...

found this young family on their way to the park on Saturday...
love how the kids splashed through the mud puddles...

Canadian geese are common here now...
but they have not always been here...
about 20 years or so...

but they do like to strut their stuff and French fries is one of their favorites foods...

the live in a nest by the dam on the city lake...
its going to be fun watching them grow up...

Craig came home from work yesterday with a sore mouth...
bad tooth...
this morning it was worse, but by noon, he couldn't do it anymore and text me...
I called the dentist and got him in this afternoon...
he is on antibiotics and gets it pulled in 2 weeks...
he is off tomorrow...
so will give him some time to get the swelling down...
and we have more rain...
yay...
not...
we don't need what we got now, let alone any more...
so stay safe and dry this week...
prayers for those who have lost their homes...
and loved ones...

  1. Adorable babies! Our flooding was better yesterday but came up fast today, more rain tonight, creeks are full again. Hope Craig gets some relief, toothaches are so painful. Your pictures are always so good! Prayers for you and yours!

  3. Tete, I am so sorry about Craig's tooth. Dental work is expensive and painful lots of times. I hope this works out for him. The geese babies look so cute. We too came close to flooding here. ( days or so with some amounts of rain. This evening we have a bit of sun, I am so grateful. Blessings to you sweet girl, xoxo, Susie
