this little girl found her furever home today...
and its going to be a wonderful home...
know her mama...
and just like that, there were 4...
well, we took in 2 bottle feeders yesterday afternoon...
you will meet them soon...
Susie- DH is fine, just old...
Doug, our oldest, has lost the 41 pounds in 3 months...
he is overweight and his A1C was high...
not enough to be type 2 yet, but on his way...
he has done such an amazing job the last three months in changing so much...
and he has dropped some weight and feels so much better...
blood tests show major improvement and still has a couple of things to keep working on...
but it takes time and the staff at the dr's office is very impressed with his hard work so far!
it rained here last night and all day today and got cold and nasty...
could see the low 30s tonight...
we shall see...
too windy to frost just yet...
but it is cold enough for me...
had to drag a coat out this afternoon to go out...
need to find the gloves, hats, ear muffs, too...
not ready for this...
60s and low 70s would be just fine...
have good weekends...
another baby leaving here in the morning...
Tete, I am not ready to get the coats out. My girls know me for being the last to turn the heat on...I just hate to give in to winter. LOL. I must have read the post wrong. I am proud of your son getting himself together and losing that much weight and trying to get his health in order. Life is hard enough with the things we can not control...so this is a good thing for him. My daughter sent me a pic of her cat stretched out and looking right into the camera. I am happy she has that cat...it's her company..she is kind of a quiet stay at home type. I am glad your DH is okay too. Blessings, stay warm or cool, depending on the time of day. :):) love, xoxo, Susie
