It's Thursday, again...

Good morning, everyone!

hope your Thursdays are off to a good start...

it sprinkled a bit earlier, but the sun is trying so hard to come out...

the nose stuff is better...

much better...

the Rx insurance is still not fixed...

(said it could take them 10 days)

I don't have 10 days...

I will check again after lunch...

either way, I have to order my insulin and needles...

2 emails have been sent from HR to Blue Cross...

Blue Cross needs to open the emails to change them...

it's been a total 3 ring circus...

but...

I did get the plumber here yesterday...

he attached my shower wand mount for me in the shower...

I sit down to shower...

so I went in there and sat on my stool and we talked about what I need to do things myself...

I reached, he measured and had to add a block from the back and seal it so it won't leak...

I took a shower last night and it is perfect...

we talked about hand rails and he offered his opinion on them...

so will be getting them ordered soon...

DH is able to use the shower, too...

he just has to bend over a bit to rinse his hair...

it's not like he has much to rinse anyway...

(yes, I said that)

LOL

I need to get back to my sorting and purging...

maybe this weekend...

I just need to get my energy back...

your comments are so much fun...

and I have been thinking about how to answer you proper...

so from today on, I will comment on your comments in the comment section...

just pop in there and check when you can...

some of you have an email I can respond to and some of you do not...

so this way, all of it will be in one place...

and I can answer your questions, before the brain fog gets in the way...

and it does sometimes...

so off you go- do your days well...

and stay blessed in His love...

  1. Hi Tete, it is a cloudy and cold day today. MY poor plants are being moved from window to window trying their best to get the sunlight they need. Good luck with the insurance, hopefully you will get someone who can click and get it right. I have an ileostomy and I know the medical supplies are life saving. I dream of a shower custom to my needs!! Lucky girl!! I am jellie-ous!! Not much going on here in the Ozarks. Actually our little community is known as "Lake Lottahockey". It was named about 45 years ago by my family at a 4th of July celebration. Tuesday was our baby girl's birthday in heaven. I know she celebrated with the other Angels. The hip surgeon won't release me for 6 more months. Seems I have developed marble like lumps where each suture was made. They hurt but he says they should go away in time. Well, not much else going on here, just counting the days to warm evenings on the porch! Take care, stay healthy and keep DH busy. ~jackiesee~

  2. Oh, Jackie- sorry about the hip suture lumps! My dad and his family are from southern Missouri- Oregon Co. Great grandparents are from Greene Co. Ark. Understand moving the plants around. You are much farther south than me, so its not much longer for you until spring! We got snow coming this weekend. Hope you don't get that cold there.

  4. Insulin is nothing to fool around with. The insurance company was messing with my son about his insulin pump. He took down dates and times and the names of the people he spoke to. After no help he read off the dates and times and told them the next call he was making was to the attorney general's office. That did it.
I'm laughing thinking of your conversation with your plumber in your shower. That's one way to get answers. Too bad you can't get the insurance rep in there. And threaten to wand them!

  5. Kathe- LOL- would love to wand the insurance and HR people! I am do glad your son got his taken care of. I have a date in my head, and will be looking into getting a lawyer. It was $550 today out of pocket. It's so nuts.
