I got this little baby doll from Santa when I was 2...
so she will be 46 this Christmas...
she is made by Mattel...
we have always called her Snoozy Snoo...
I chewed on her fingers...
and her toes...
I found all her clothes at a friend's shop here in town a few years ago...
beautiful little clothes that someone must have loved so much...
her hair is long gone...from lots and lots of loving...
she slept with me every night for years...
this is my baby girl...
her eyelashes are gone and her one eye doesn't close quite right anymore...
but she and I have been through it all together...
and she has been so loved...
and she will be passed down...
when a new baby girl comes along...
Tete thanks for visting my blog I appreciate it.the baby story is something else. To be chewed on hair pulled out (lol) she still looks pretty good to be that old. I have nothing from my childhood all because I had to tear it up and see how it worked, in other words I was destructive when I was younger. And another thing you need Tyson there, He would finish her off for you, I can send him out by Fed-Ex early in the morning if you want him (lol) I hope you have a great day
ReplyDeleteHello! Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday! It is always fun to see a new face. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat precious memories you have with your doll. It's so great that you still have her. My sister had a very special doll, but I think that she long gone. One Christmas all she wanted was a "brown" baby. Back then there weren't too many "brown" babies available. My dad and I went on a search and, after several stores, and no luck, on a high, high shelf- there she was.
That Christmas morning when she opened that gift she was awed. When we asked her what she was going yo name her, she very seriously answered, "Barbara". Very famous doll in our family!
Enjoy your day!
Joyce
