Craig just put him in the ground...
Steve found him this morning on his way to work..
he was hit on the next road over...
I had been up and down all night calling for him...
I so loved this cat...
I'm just sitting here watching my son out the window...
shovel in hand...
my mom is so gona love him...
he's a snuggler...
I miss them all when they go...
but I'm really going to miss this one...

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for the loss of your sweet Georgie. I am a huge animal lover, so I have tears in my eyes. They are such a big part of our families, aren't they? Non animal lovers just don't understand that, I think. Sending you a big hug.
What an adorable face! Love the cat! We have a few we share with our neighbors. They spayed the mom and the three babies. My daughter got the job of caring for them while they were away - allowed her to name them and one is technically 'hers'. They're great fun to watch in the garden.

ReplyDeleteOh precious friend of mine. I am so, so sorry to hear about your precious Georgie. I know what comfort he brought to you sweetie. What a doll baby he was. It is so hard when we lose our best friends and companions.
I am right there hugging you sweet friend and wiping the tears as they fall. I know it will be hard, but you have SO many memories on the bookshelf. He is in each one Tete, just reach up and grab one and there he will be.

I am so sorry about Georgie. I lost my cat after nineteen years and I still miss her so. I love how you said that your mom is so going to love him because he is a snuggler. I was hurting so much when Mittens died, but I know that she is with my Granmother too.

It's hard to lose a precious fur-kid...more so when its to an accident. My prayers are with you. Both of my kitty-babies are nearly 12, and I shudder to think of the day.........

Tete, I am back from my little trip and from my first days of work, and am just trying to catch up on posts. I am so sorry about your little Georgie. We had a dog a while back that was hit by a car and we have never gotten over it. It's so sad.
