this was a favorite of mine, thanks to watching older movies with my grandpa...
this movie was the pre- Waltons...
I would sit on the edge of my seat every time the baby fell out of the high chair and Clayboy had to run all the way to town to get the doctor and run all the way back to find the baby had just had the wind knocked out of him...
James recently passed away..
I was impressed at how a family was so proud that Clayboy had graduated from high school and would be going to college...
this was made in 1963...
one year after I was born...
back when movies were good and wholesome...
they made us laugh and they made us cry...
and they always left us feeling awestruck as the credits rolled...
I'm joining Nancy again for her Friday party...
join in and have some fun with us...

  1. Wow! You are on the button.. LOL
I had just posted mine on the blog too..
I AM soooo behind on movies. I heard of this one and haven't seen it. I am too young to remember some of these other great classic movies. One of these days I'll find it on tv and going to say," I know someone posted this on the web'. LOL
    Thanks for joining in...
    Everyone is welcome.
    Please play along. :)

  2. I have heard of this movie but I don't think I have ever seen it. It sounds like something I would like. I will have to see if I can get it at the library. Thanks for sharing, Nan
