changed things up a bit this morning...
well...
the guys did...
my mobility isn't so hot today...
but I am really loving this area now...
moved things around and planted bedding plants...
sorry I took the photo before I got the planter washed up...
tins cans full of panseys...
this is now on the other side of the shed...
under it are tomato and pepper plants...
white begonias are under the bench right along the bricks...
on each side are a variety of pinks...
petunias in a hanging basket out by the road...
peppers, vinca and begonias went in here...
with room for snap dragons later...
some tulips have already faded...
and this one won't be around for long...
moved this shelf here...
moved these chairs here...
wheel barrows are planted...
green onions in the small one...
and a hawk flew over as we were getting finished...
not as cool as the shot Marydon got the other day...
she had one sitting on her bird feeder right outside her window!
I did over do it yesterday and again this morning...
woke up at 3am and had to do aspirin...
ibuprophen this morning...
can't move too good now...
but I helped and we got things done...
everything on the big list except move some chives around...
but we can do that later...
we have a cotton pickin' wind advisory right now until 5pm...
I'm going to join DH...
he's already napping...
and I'm cranking up the heating pad...
but I'm good and happy...
it's worth every knot and cramp...
beats sitting in here and watching from the window!
have a super day!
I hope you get to feeling better soon. I can't do much of anything without wearing myself out. You really have pretty plants and nice seating areas to show for all the work. I just love junk in gardens...well, pretty much anywhere, I guess!
ReplyDeleteI love the green bench and the sign is so funny, "free weeds, u pick". It sounds like you are getting out and about in your garden while healing which I am glad to hear.
ReplyDeleteHope the heating pad does the trick, Tete! I sewed up some cloth bags that I filled with rice. Then you pop them in the microwave for a few minutes. They work so great for aches and pains, and you don't have to be near an electrical outlet!!
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are so pretty! I am in love with your cute garden bench, and the pretty vintage green planter, too!
Hi Tete,
ReplyDeleteI sure am Happy that a Rainy April is almost outta here & Flowers for May will Finally Start, Only a few things are blooming here, I think we are way behind the normal even for Us.
Most of the trees are just beginning to set their buds, I sure can't wait till about 2 weeks from now, I think that will show a Huge Difference, until then, I will Gladly EnJoy Your Beautiful Garden!
