lily of the valley is blooming...
love the back of this old chair...
gears are working on a way to continue to use it in my gardens...
I'm thinking on the lines of a funky trellis...
the ferns loved all the rain!
day by day...
a garden grows...
tomatoes are planted...
hint 101...
take all the leaves off 1/2 way up and plant them 1/2 way up the stem...
really deep...
roots will shoot out of the stem and give you better plants...
they will be more stable and furnish more fruit...
clematis is climbing up and the weeds were pulled and it's still there!
I sat and watched personally...
nagging the whole time...
DON'T PULL THE CLEMATIS!
it worked...
the glider is gone from here and these 2 metal garden chairs are getting painted later on...
white...
here's the glider!
DH and I sit out here every evening if the weather is good...
watching the sun set...
been tweeking all over...
making it a happy little world...
my litle potting table is getting a work out...
planted 2 more pansies this morning in tin cans...
a can of fun...
a bird cage...
and a basket of green onions...
these are at the dollar tree!
can't wait until this fills in and spills over the sides...
remember using bushel baskets?
we all had them in the garage...
picking apples and pears...
racking leaves...
plastic lined ones for laundry...
used one for grass clippings when you had to get down on all fours with the hand clippers to trim...
oh, the good old days...
rustic baskets are just fun...
seed pods are falling like crazy around here!
they are everywhere!
more green onions and more pansies...
spring is wonderful...
sent Craig into pay my booth rent and grab the check...
then we need to dig some chives that have taken off back by the field and get them in a few pots...
so I can just step out the door with my scissors and grab them when I'm cooking...
I think they will add height and interest in the pots...
and the best part...
they are free!
cah-ching...
the sound of money staying in my pocket...
I love that sound!
Hugs, girlies...
thanks for stopping by...
