allergies...

dianthus in the wash tub...

dianthus are all from last year...

filling in...

these are in the bed...

lily of the valley...
my mother in law's...

my mom's ferns...

and a little something DH picked up while shopping yesterday...

I did not go...
we got up to WIND...
big, strong wind...
and I do not do good in wind at all...
so I opted to stay home...
and clean house...
but we did take a few walks...
and today...
the wind and allergies caught up to me...
nose running...
eyes watering...
low grade fever...
just a yucky feeling all over...

so I haven't been on here much...
been sleeping mostly...
and some tidying up...
my bestie is coming by tonight...
she should be here any time...
and then I am taking a shower and heading for bed...
be back tomorrow...

  1. Oh- I am sorry you are not feeling well, Tete. I hope you have a good time with your bestie tonight and then get a good night's sleep. Maybe you will feel better tomorrow. xo Diana

I have snapdragons blooming from last year and...my dahlias came back and are up! along with marigolds. Thank goodness since i can't afford any plants this year.

  3. I have blooms blooming from last year too. And they shouldn't be but I am glad they are. :) So sorry the allergies are getting to you Tete. Hope some rest helps. It's so hard not to be outside in this glorious weather but then the pollen gets the best of us. My husband is struggling too and he's never had a problem before. Feel better! xo

  4. I need to get some dianthus, all mine are gone, but they lasted many years.

My Easter Lily has the whole living room smelled up, and I think that is the cause of my allergies.
    Hope you feel better tomorrow.

  5. Weren't those winds just something else, Tete? Wow! It was a much calmer day today...though chilly yet. I'm waiting for those 70 degree temps to return. I'm such a wimp when it comes to working outside if it's under 65 degrees! lol! Hope you had a good time tonight with your bff and will feel better tomorrow, sweetie!
