just hanging out...

these gorgeous ladies came to live with me yesterday...

Doug and his dad found them for me at Walmart yesterday...

after  supper, we went out to sit in the yard...

I sat in the grass...

and I took my camera with me since I had only done the sock monkey photo shoot today...

love the evening sun...

it is a bit chilly with the breeze out there...

we didn't get to 90 today like they said we would...

but it was still a nice day...

columbine...

and if you sit down in the grass...
beware...
furbabies think you are fair game...

Tory really likes it out side, but is still wary...

peonies are budding...
rough night and first part of the day...
but this evening I am feeling better...
been a long day...
worked on the kitchen this afternoon...
just clearing off counters after the weekend and the shopping...
things just get dumped there for some reason...

well, have a good night...

  3. Love being there with you, Tete, as you tour the yard and watch all the flowers and your son, and the pets. It just feels like HOME there, you know? Sorry you didn't have a great day...I hope tomorrow is better- xo Diana

  4. I need to check on my peonies, forgot that it is time for them to be budding.

Love the kitties and the 'rabbits'.

  5. Tete...I just looked at your Peony photo 20 times...."(shriek)"...trying NOT to get excited...but I think...maybe...what I have coming up in several places is a type of Peony???? My Peony in Charlotte was WAY out in front of my Picket Fence at the street...so I NEVER got a chance to watch it re-sprout and grow in its' re-birthing stage every Spring...just saw it all green and open with the big buds on it when I drove up to our house/yard...but these plants in the back are in-my-face close, and I was seeing red "feathery" stuff sprouting tall out of the ground...mystery...it is looking like your photo though...I am learning a lot by viewing your yard...lol...and here I thought I was slightly knowledgeable about plants and shrubs...anyway...I am excited to think I might have Peonies in this yard too...OH mY!! God has given me many many lovelies here to replace what I had to leave behind there. I was standing at my kitchen window yesterday just thanking Him again and again for His love and kindness in all of it.
HUGS to you Tete...I feel like I am getting a "virtual" walk around your yard every week. It's no WONDER you like to go out and sit in the grass!!! xoxoxo

  6. Your flowers are such a welcome sign of Spring, Tete. We have the green starts of the plants coming up here.
Looks like your fur babies are enjoying the warmth as much as the people at your house!!
    Have a great week!

  7. I'm jealous of your peonies! Mine are only about 4 inches tall right now and the dogs keep walking through them. Who knows if I will get to see any blooms this year.
