we have an abundance of these this year...
I see one everyday out in the yard...
but I wanted to show you this little jar...
got it at a rummage sale a few weeks ago and knew what I wanted to do with it...
see the holes?
perfect to use for a mini flower frog...
and it filled up pretty easy...
all while being watched...
and here it is inside...
a great alternative to floating the flowers...
and a bit of sad news...
Zags passed away in my arms late last night...
do not know why...
he ate good yesterday morning and then wouldn't eat for us after that...
by 8pm he was crashing...
so I sat and rocked him...
he left here at 11:45...
I guess someone up there needed a kitten to play with...
Oh so sad, such a sweet face and beautiful eyes ;(
ReplyDeleteI am spending the day in Oakland today! Going to the Matsen SLave trial and then the beef and noodle dinner tonight..yum!
Enjoyed seeing how you used the shaker as a flower frog...so pretty.
ReplyDeleteWas saddened to see that sweet little kitten had passed. I'm happy you were the one holding the baby as he went on to play in Heaven.
You are such a special woman, Tete.
xxoo
Tete, You have such a good heart. That little kitten is playing with little angels today.
ReplyDeleteLove the flower jar.:):) Smiles, Susie
Love the flowers and how you displayed them in the jar. So sorry and sweet Kitty Zags, so glad you could hold him and give him comfort and love as he made his way to a new home in kitty heaven. Hugs and love Marilou
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that Zags crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Such a pretty baby.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of using that shaker as a frog.
I am so sorry, Tete. You are a great kitty mom/caretaker and for this you will be blessed. Loving animals can make us vulnerable to sadness sometimes.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Beth
