our carrots and radishes...
the radishes need transplanting now, but the carrots need to grow a bit more...
mums coming up...
and that crazy dusty miller...
this is the 3rd year on these plants...
I was so tired of them, I cut them off last fall, thinking that would be the end of them...
they are not where I want them to be, so guess they will be moving...
lavender...
I only have 2 of these plants in 2 different beds...
lilies...
some old and some bought last year...
and of course the columbine...
I need to go out and count how many of these plants we have now...
lost almost all of them in the flood 5 years ago...
so we had to start over, almost...
I did lose all my varieties...
this was the only one to hang on...
and we have shade!
can you believe it?
we didn't need it today, but will later in the week...
this is going to explode in color soon...
Bebe keeping and eye on the cats as they romp around the yard...
he has been a victim to drive bys...
so he is a bit wary when they go whacko...
he had a bad few days, but seems to be back to normal...
and the field behind us is still untouched...
I hope the farmers are able to get going soon...
that will be another week of allergies when they do...
this week the cotton wood decided to shed, and my eyes watered for days...
its still snowing fuzz here...
I am hoping it quits in a couple days...
the fluff is on everything...
I have been going from one allergy to the next with no gap in between...
and winter clothes to summer clothes...
from one day to the next...
just another crazy spring on the prairie...
;)
Good Monday morning Tete. Hope you had a great weekend. Your yard is looking so pretty. I love Columbines but have none (don't know why) I did start some lavender from seed in my neighbor's greenhouse this past winter and will transplant them soon. They are not that easy to grow here so we'll see. Hope you have a good week. Mine's a busy one. xo
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday morning to you, Tete, Everything looks so pretty and green! We still don't have a garden spot dry enough for working, but my husband has some tomato plants. They will need to go somewhere.:-)
