yesterday was a good day inside...

we did get out early and got things done quickly...

front and pot watering and our morning walk...

and then back inside...

the neighbor's rose of sharon...

my sedum...

Craig got the shampooing done and I did the kitchen and laundry...

we did lunch and I took a nap...
Bebe got a bath and a hair cut the night before...

we had pizza for supper tonight...

Craig and I watered the side yard and garden then this evening...

we got the north side of the house by the shed washed down, too...
it was turning green...

got a handful of green beans picked, so put those in a bag for the crisper...

took another walk and harassed a couple of neighbors...

and from there on out, I have no idea where the time went...

its 11:15pm...

the garden has really filled out...

another hot one tomorrow, too...

and the next day...

and the next...

thought you would get a kick out of this...
see the burn tan?

he wears those sun glasses all day in the parking lot...
and at night, he becomes raccoon man...
around his eyes its so white...
he won't wear a hat...
silly boy...
he just has the bluest eyes...
love that guy, even if he drives me nuts sometimes...

well, that was today and tomorrow looks like pretty much the same thing...
hot, humid and staying caught up...
I also see another nap in there somewhere, too...
I worked on more of the random collages today, so will have a post on them sometime tomorrow, too...
;)

  1. Tell Raccoon Man that he sure is handsome. I'm sure hearing that from someone my age will give him a grin.

  2. How? How do you get so much done in a day. I don't seem to be able to get near as much accomplished. My excuse is that my other half is at work all day and doesn't want to do any yard work when he comes in....so it is all me and between inside jobs and outside jobs I can't ever catch up. Thanks for always being an inspiration to me...:)))

  5. Your garden looks beautiful. Tell your man that the sun is tripple what it used to be and he must wear a hat.

My hubby got marks with sun and God spared him not having full bloom cancer this year. The spots became attention of a nurse one day getting his flu shot and it turned out because my love has loss his hair over time. The spots on his head and hands and forehead and arms. Was cancer. So sun is not to be taken lightly. Let him read this. My hubby had treatments and it was a real electric buzz of what specialists use to work with those spots of sun but they have caught it in time.

  6. I love your garden-it is so beautiful! Mine has been sorely neglected this year. Your man looks pretty cool with that tan; mine golfs so much that he has a tan line where his shoes & short socks meet-looks pretty funny!
    Have a great evening.

  7. Your rose of Sharon is just gorgeous, Tete! Ours don't bloom nearly that early. Bebe is looking so cute and dapper! Too hot to do anything outside here, we love our a/c!!

  8. I missed this post, Tete. Look at that big lug. He has the prettiest blue eyes...even if he does have a raccoonish look right now. Tell him not to start skulking around nights and eating out of garbage cans like the other raccoons do. lol Your flowers are just amazing and all your other images are amazing. xo Diana
