photos from a couple days ago...

ok, I love this...
its a turkey pizza sub...
so easy to make....
open the sub roll...
lightly butter both sides and sprinkle with garlic powder...
add pizza sauce to each side...
add mozzarella and parmesan cheeses...
throw on some ground parsley...
stack on your turkey and close it up...
wrap it in foil, shiny side in...
bake for 15 minutes at 350...
so good...
you can put anything you want on these...
the guys do ham and pepperoni...

ok, a couple days ago, Craig and I went for a drive...
this is the dam on our town lake...
our drinking water used to come out of that...

logs and stuff come over the spill way and get stuck for awhile...

I think its too cold for that now...

love this weathered wood...

and old fences...

the water keeps trying to freeze over, but just can't do it with the warm days here and there...

its pretty when its trying to freeze...

that's a crick running through there...

another fence post...

and I have no idea what this is!
looks like baby yellow tomatoes...
just one small section of them and have seen anything like it anywhere else...
any ideas?

well, probably should get off of here and get some work done...
or take a nap...
;)

  1. I may try your subs this coming week. I love all things pizza. We love to drive past the dam. We call it the "water fall". Yeah, we are small town :)

  3. Good day Tete, I always love your photos but todays photos really hit home and made one of those "aha" moments! I look outside and all I can see is the dark browns and grays of winter. Oh, how I can't wait till it gets warmer. But your photos showed me the beauty I was missing. Even Winter can be gorgeous!

  4. Hi there, As always your photos are top notch and display the simple beauty of winter. I think the orange is cherry tomatoes but at first thought maybe rosehips. Thanks for sharing.
    Hugs, Noreen

  5. Those sandwiches sound delicious, Tete. Your photos are wonderful, as they always are. I love the old weathered buildings, too.
Those orange globes look like the rose hips to me although those don't look like any kind of rose bushes?
Have a great night- I LOVE your new background- xo Diana
