I finally got my potting table moved inside today!
and I am not sure that's going to be a good idea...
I sat there way too long...
taking too many photos...
but you might as well see on of my squirrels in action...
so many nuts and so little time...
running here and there...
they seemed to have gone through the winter alright...
and there were three doves at the feeders this morning...
and I even witnessed dove sex...
Craig and I went for a short walk and then took a rake to the side yard...
just peeking a bit...
but we found more green...
and its happening under there...
we covered them back up...
got another two weeks and then the leaves must come out of the beds...
thing number two...
I got Craig to move the swing from the island to the side yard right in front of the field...
we can sit out here and look at stars at night...
we can sit here on those hot summer mornings and watch the sun come up...
there is so much work to do just in the clean up...
but its so muddy off of the sidewalks and roads...
and I took a peek in here to see if it needed more spring...
nope, I think its good to go for now...
and I started playing around again...
in the easter box...
so things are going here and there...
sock monkey bucket > living room...
ears> Bebe later on...
he does wear them...
creations> crafting area (aka potting table)
potting table...
yeah, the crafting area...
climbing curtains!
they are super fun to watch, but it won't be long before they are heading out of here...
they are using a poop box really well now...
and last week, they are eating more hard food and drinking water...
they still chase mom down a few times a day...
and she lets them nurse some, but most of the time she walks away...
usually with one hanging on under her belly...
got two whole days to myself...
and its going to be in the 60s those days...
then snow on Wednesday...
got to love this time of the year...
hope you all had a fun day...
I had so much fun, I need a nap before supper!
;)
Tete, You already got a fair start. I have a ton of clean up to do. Like your swing where you can watch the sunrises. I know you are going to be loving your deck this year too. I like your new blog picture. How many kittens do you have? Hope we do not get the snow. Not now, I am in spring mode. LOL. xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteIt is still a little to wet and muddy out for us to even get off the walkways to see what is growing.. The kitties are just to cute...We are supposed to have temps in the lower 60's here too.. Possible snow on Thursday.. Yay! Can you sense the note of sarcasm...lol Well I just hope if it has to come again ...it leaves quickly.. All your Easter decor looks really great.. I am going to pull out some things this week. Have a great week. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteOH- I am so glad you had a nice day. Nice weather and you had fun playing with your camera. Your hutch is gorgeous, Tete. I don't ever remember seeing that before- although I may have.
ReplyDeleteIt is starting to look like Spring really will come down there. Now, we're next! (I hope).
Those kittens are so darned cute. I don't know how you will bear to part with them. There is nothing like a bunch of kittens playing together, is there?
What a nice Sunday, Tete. xo Diana
Oh gosh, you are so ready for Spring to blossom! Those kittens are sweet. Our male kitty Tiger is going to get neutered tomorrow. Say a prayer for him. He saw us put the food bowls up and so now he is crying for them! LOL. Poor fellow. But he will live longer and healthier and happier. We came home today from NYC. It was fun to watch Nick run at the Armory there. Although he did not make it to finals we were proud to see him run! I don't think I could ever live there but it was a fun trip. Exhausted! Whew.....
ReplyDeleteLove all the bunnies at your place. Enjoy the warm weather,we all know more snow will hit all of us before Spring really pops up!
Hugs, Anne
OH what a shot of that squirrel, he seems to be fat and sassy. I love the promise of spring, and how one day it will arrive for it's 3 day stay, before summer hits full blast.
ReplyDeleteThe swing moved, and your plans for using it. Delightful!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you've been enjoying the break in the weather. We've been having a break, too. Walked down-street a bit, on Sun. But cold is coming back. Nothing we can do about it.
It's just being a late-winter-to-remember. ,-)

Those kittens are sooo cute! I want to reach through the computer and cuddle one! We too are anxious for some green to start showing in our yard, not yet, but very soon! Today we are tearing one down that the crab grass (my enemy) has taken over. I fought it all last year but it won the fight and now it is time to completely tear it apart. The Martin Birds will be here in a week, so we need to clean out their apartments! Happy, happy, happy... today!
ReplyDeleteNice post Tete! Looks like you're ready for spring!
